Past meetings

The 2021 symposium took place within the context of the 2nd International Conference on Cyber- Physical Systems and Control (CPS&C'2021). It was held at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnical University, Russia. Lectures were given, panel discussions were held and fundamental knowledge was shared over a total of four days. The aim is to bring together researchers, practitioners and technologists from all over the world and to discuss and disseminate multidisciplinary fundamental scientific and engineering principles that underpin the integration of cyber and physical elements across all application areas.

Proceedings

In 2020, the symposium was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic and only took place as an online workshop. It was organized by Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. It was divided into two sections, with ITA staff presenting their paper on transport and optical technologies in the first section. In the second section,delegation members of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnical University presented their research results on, among other things, the use of machine learning in manufacturing.

In 2019 symposium was held in Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnical University, Russia. It contained 4 sections: Plenary, Fundamentals, Technologies and Applications. In three of them (except Fundamentals) delegation members from Leibniz University Hannover had presented their papers.

In 2018 symposium was held in Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. It contained 3 sections: Laser Technologies Session, Robotics & Mechatronic Session and Logistics and Control Session. In all of them delegation members from  Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnical University had presented their papers.

In the period of 8-10 June 2009 in Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnic University international conference dedicated to the problems in the sphere of distributed intelligent systems and technologies took place. Apart of Russian specialists, academics, specialists, young candidates, aspirants and students participated from different countries took part in conference. At sum 64 participants took part in this conference, 7 countries were represented: Finland, Germany, Italy, USA, Columbia, China and Russia; 25 lecturers reported their presentations.
